My Decision to Study English in Canada

As we all know, the English language is known in the world as an international language for communication and most people who are not native English speakers want to learn it as perfectly as possible. In Canada, English is necessary to be learned in order to get a good job for life.

In China, English is important for employees to find many good job opportunities. Almost all companies are interested in hiring a person who has high knowledge of English. As a result, many employees try their best to learn English in order to be qualified for the careers in the market. I remember the first time I had an interview with a company in China. I was very eager to get that job. In my opinion, I did a good job except for my English. While I was leaving the office, I saw another person who spoke with the interviewer in English. Obviously, his good English impressed the interviewer. A week later, when I went to the office to get my result, I saw that boy sitting behind the table-He got the job! I failed just for lack of knowledge of English.

Furthermore, good English also can help employees with their job experiences. I work in a hotel as a supervisor in China. Many customers came to our hotel as customers. One day, a foreigner came to our Front Office for consulting. Because of my poor English, I was obliged to ask my manager, who is fluent in English. I was depressed for losing this chance which might help me to enhance my experiences.

That is why I decided to improve my English. Besides, I suggest that English be learned by the employees are seeking various job opportunities. It is not only to help them to find a good job, but it is also to help them to take an advantage of many potential work experiences they may encounter.
