Post-secondary education is becoming more important in modern societies. I decided to continue my post-secondary education at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) because all the high-paying jobs in HongKong require a high-level of education. Before I came to BCIT, I had done some research about its reputation, size and programs. The result of the research really satisfied me. BCIT is a well-known post-secondary educational institution, which is located in Vancouver, British Columbia. A lot of agents who responsible for helping applicants to find a foreign school had suggested me to apply this school before I came to Vancouver. Also, my friend who is studying at a college in Vancouver told me that BCIT is an excellent educational institution. Not only the reputation of BCIT is good, its large size also impressed me. It consists of four campuses: Burnaby campus, Downtown campus, Pacific Marine Training campus and Aerospace and Technology campus. Although they belong to BCIT, they offer different kinds of programs to students. For instance, the Burnaby campus offers the Business Programs and Technology Programs, but the Downtown campus concentrates on Computer Programs. The size of BCIT is pretty huge; however, I didn't neglect that what kind of programs it offers to applicants. It offers a high-level educational program is a major reason why I chose it. I was interested in its Business Program, which I am currently studying. Beside this, it also offers a variety of useful Business Programs such as Marketing Management and Financial Management, which I eager to study about after graduating from my current business program. In addition, these programs are very famous in my country. In short, I have considered all these factors before making my final decision. All the consequences of my research proved to me that BCIT is suitable for my post-secondary education. As a result, I came to Vancouver and study at BCIT.
