A lot of people are sure that students' lives are similar in any country in the World. Probably they are right. In any country of the World students drunk a lot, miss classes and always ready for chitin. Here I'd like to tell you about students' live in my home country Russia. When I was a schoolgirl, I didn't want to enter to university, but my mother said me, "Students' years are the best years in our live. You should go to university not only because it can help you to find a good job in future, but because it is a lot of fun". Now I know that she was absolutely right. First of all I am going to tell you about relationship between students and alcohol in Russia. Of cause students like to drink, they really enjoy it. Especially, if the person lives in dormitory, she (he) should drink a lot. Each Saturday all students make a party in dormitory. They bring tables from there bad-rooms to the hall, bring all food and drinks, which they have and begin to celebrate the end of the week. In Russia we study six days a week, that is why the end of the week we can celebrate only on Saturday, not on Friday. Now I'd like to inform you about Russian way to miss classes. Russian system of education is very different from Canada. We don't have middle-term exams. We have only final exams. If student miss all his (her) classes in this term, usually he (she) would be able to pass his (her) final exam and probably receive the best mark. That is why people usually say that students study only one month in winter (winter exams) and one month in summer (summer exams). During this two months we study really hard. Students drink a lot of coffee, sleep one ore two hours before exam. After this months during one week we can only sleep, sleep and sleep. I think each student cribs. Maybe she (he) did it only once ore twice, but everybody did it. In Russia each student crib and crib a lot. Generally, our teachers know that sometimes we just copy something, but they try to close eyes and look like they don't know it. Usually we have twelve or fifteen subjects in one term. It is impossible to know everything. Generally, it doesn't matter copy we or not, because after we did it we have to enplane teacher everything that we did on our papers and he (she) can ask us any questions about this subject. Here I tried to describe students live in Russia as well as I can. If you like it, please WELCOME TO RUSSIA.
