Students participate in the COMM 0004 course in order to join future programs at the British Columba Institute of Technology.

My name is Dennis Hurd and I was the instructor of the afternoon section. Our class entitled, Technical Communication for Second Language Students, took place at the downtown campus of BCIT. The five-week course started on April 10th and ended with our final exam on the 16th of May 2000.

We completed various writing tasks during the course. We created tables, classification trees, and used other pre-writing strategies. Twelve, formal writing assignments covered many different topics and included work on descriptions, comparisions, justifications, and instructions. These assignments were handed on disks or sent by email. Whatever was in the file was directly pasted here.

The Internet has a very large, potential audience, doesn't it?
