Differences Between Snooker And Pool

If you want to play billiard, you should find out the difference between pool and snooker. Today, I would like to talk about how to separate them.

First, the snooker was from England and pool was from America. Pool's table is small and the balls are big. Unlike pool, snooker's table is bigger and the balls are smaller. Pool has 15 balls which with numbers on it, the player should hits all these balls from 1 to 15 into the table's holes. Unlike pool, snooker has 15 red balls and 6 color balls without number on it. The player should hits one red ball and then one color ball in to the holes, and so on until all the balls were in the holes. Pool is basicly on speed which means you should hit all the balls into the holes faster than the other players. Snooker is basicly on scoll which means you should got the higher scoll than the other player.

Next, the cue for snooker is different from the pool's cue. The snooker's cue is more longer and thiner than the pool's cue. Also, the head of the snooker's cue was made by iron and the pool's was made by skin. The pool's cue can be separated into two or three parts. Unlike pool, the snooker's cue can be only separated into two parts.

Finally, the rules for these two kinds of billiards are also different. When playing pool, the players can only use the hand to support the cue but nothing else. Unlike pool, when playing snooker, the players can use the lams to support the cue because the table is too big. When playing snooker, the ball you hit can go in any holes on the table. Unlike snooker, when playing pool, you should call the hole which you will hit the ball in before hitting.
