Differences in Studying

Here, I am going to point out four things that changed after coming to BCIT. First, my vision toward future has become clearer than I was in Japan. Recently, I passed uniform U.S. CPA examination and decided to get CA or CGA certificate to work as an accountant in Canada. Second, I became very keen on the words such as E-commerce or .(dot)com. Now, I am fully aware of the vital and inevitable trends of the world industry toward IT related fields. Third, the ability to operate a computer has greatly improved. In BCIT, there are many computer laboratory facilities, so I can use a computer at any time. Finally, my studying method has changed. I am now concentrating on expressing and sharing what I learned, rather than memorizing and keeping it in mind.

I am now feeling at home in the multicultural atmosphere in Canada. I will take advantage of my multicultural identity (I can speak Japanese, Korean, and English), and keep studying hard to realize my vision.
