In 1999, I graduated from LU JIANG University in China, then I came to BCIT to continue my study. I found there are many differences between BCIT and LU JIANG University. The differences can be described by 4 criteria: tuition fee, programs, entrance requirements, and the number of international students.

First, the tuition fee is more expensive to international students than Canadian students at BCIT , but the tuition fee is same to international students and Canadian students at LU JIANG University.

Second, BCIT offers certificate programs, diploma programs, and degree programs; whereas, LU JIANG University only provides diploma programs.

Third, most programs of BCIT ask for job experiences; on the other hand, LU JIANG University only accepts the students who graduate from high school.

Finally, BCIT has many international students; however, LU JIANG University only has a small number of international students.
