Comparing High Schools

I like to talk about typical Japanese high school. Japanese high school students have to wear uniform to go to school. The amount of study hour is about nine hours per day, including lunchtime. Usually, Japanese high school students don't have many course choices, because most of the courses are already decided by teachers.

Second, I'm going to describe typical Canadian high school. Most of the Canadian high schools are not required to wear uniform. The amount of study hour is about six to seven hours per day, including lunchtime. Canadian high schools provide many course choices to students; therefore, the students can choose courses, which they want to learn.

I found several differences between Canadian high school and Japanese high school. The first difference is uniform. The Japanese students have to wear uniforms, but the Canadian students are not. The second difference is length of school hours. The Japanese high school is about two hours longer than the Canadian high schools study hour. The Canadian high schools have many course choices, however the Japanese high schools doesn't offer many course choices.
