My High School Experience

I am a student who study BMS program at BCIT. I would like talk about my high school experience. During the last year of high school I suffered under much pressure. I had to pass the exams in order to get into a university of my choice. This was so I could get a good job and have a secure future. First, I heard stories from the students who had graduated from school and who were then studying in universities. They kept telling me how difficult the high school had been and how it was even more difficult at university. This made me totally depressed. Also, teachers pressured us. They gave us piles and piles of homework, expecting the Great Wall of China to be built in a day. In addition, they gave us lots and lots of tests. I had a test almost every day and essays to hand in very quickly. As a result, because of working on these essays, I had to give up my study for exams. Since I couldn't catch up with the work, I began to worry about getting good marks on the exams. Additionally, our parents pushed us too had to get good marks. They wanted us to obtain the finest education which meant getting into university. Since parents pressured us at home and teachers pressured us at school simultaneously, we had no time to relax. I suffered under much pressure in the last year of high school but it kept us studying hard.
