Nowadays, a job hunting strategy becomes more and more important. I will introduce five steps in finding a satisfying job. First, You have to identify your job needs that reflect your reaction to your work situation. For example, as you gain competence, a job that first seemed challenging may become boring. Second, you can find some job sources in a newspaper or Internet. For instance, you can look for the information in the local newspaper or get to the website: www.monster.ca. Third, you need to write a resume that lists all information a potential employer needs to evaluate you and your background. It describes your immediate goals and career objectives. This information is followed by an explanation of your education background, and work experience. Interests, and other relevant data. Four, the most important thing is to try to find a referee who works in a company, where you want to work. A good reference will result in getting an interview chance. You can find a reference though your friend and relatives. Finally, you prepare for a job interview. Companies usually don't conduct job interviews unless they think the candidate meets the requirements for the job. The interview, therefore, is pretty much a make-or-break situation. If it goes well, you have a very good chance of being hired. In short, identifying you job need, finding job sources, writing a good resume, finding a referrer, and preparing a job interview are very important to obtain a personally satisfying job.
