Lucky Me

Compared to other students in my hometown, I am the luckier one. After a 13 hours trip, I finally arrived in Vancouver with my luggage and dreams. It was such a unforgettable memory which was made up with three parts.

First part of my memory is about my school BCIT. A lady named Lexie showed me around the campus on my first day arrived at BCIT. My first view of BCIT was that it was a peaceful school equipped with hi-tech facilities. You can find computer labs everywhere on the campus. Libraries are open seven days a week. It is quite convenient for students to study on campus.

Next, I am going to explain my second memorable part of Vancouver. In the first couple of weeks after I arrived in Vancouver, I could hardly believe that I was in a western country. I found that Vancouver is a multi-cultural city. You can easily find people with different colors of skin, different languages, different religions, and different nationalities. They gathered here and living a peaceful and leisurely life under the light-blue sky of Vancouver.

The reason why people loves to live in Vancouver is possibly related to my third topic: environment. Vancouver is located on the west coast of Canada, therefore it has a maritime climate. Vancouver has plenty of rain which brings enough water here. Even in summer, there's a lot of rain, which can cool the city down. No matter in which season, you can see green plants everywhere. Those plants provide the city with fresh air. No wonder, Vancouver is one of the cities that has the largest population in Canada.

These are my wonderful memories and express of Vancouver and my school. In conclusion, I have a good time study here. I will keep all these memories in my mind and share it with my friends and families when I go back to my country.
