| Differences Between Dubai and Vancouver |
|
||||||||||||
Dubai and Vancouver are both economically growing cities and both are nice cities to live in, but there are some differences between them. The first most evident difference between the two countries is the weather and climate. Dubai for example is a hot and humid man-made city while Vancouver is known for its continuous rainfall, Rocky Mountains and green forests. Another difference is the population and size. Dubai is a small city with a growing population of eight hundred thousand people. Vancouver on the other hand is nearly twice the size of Dubai with a population of three million. Dubai is a tax-free city because the government has its own business; therefore they make their own money. The population of Vancouver pays the government a fourteen percent tax rate. For an example, if one was to purchase a car that costs one hundred thousand dollars, that would be the price they would be paying however if they purchase the car from Vancouver they would have to consider the G.S.T. and P.S.T.
Also, every business in Dubai must be owned by a citizen of United Arab
Emirates, because a foreigner cannot own a business in U.A.E. unless he
or she has a partnership with a citizen of U.A.E. |
