A belief is defined as something that is accepted as true,
real, or something that is taught as part of a religion. It
can be concrete, theoretical or temporal.
I strongly believe in kinship. Being abroad most of the
year, I treasure every moment spent with my family even
more. I am not joking when I say that I can actually
calculate the number of days I spent with my family;
unfortunately less than twenty days per year. Sometimes
I really wonder why my father had to send me to study
in Singapore when I was only ten years old. Growing
older, I have ineed become wiser. Now I know it was
for my future's sake. One of my father's beliefs is
that, "There is no point in leaving behind lots of
money for the children, as unpredictable things
can always happen. However, by providing them with
education, I will leave them with valuable knowledge
that no one can take away from them."" I agree with him.
I believe to maintain good kinship, there must be the
five "C's". They are care, concern, cooperation,
communication, and commitment. We manage to
grow in the understanding of one another through performing
our own roles. That is the magic key to the few quarrels
in house. Our family motto is "United We Stand, Divided
We Fall". We're just like the Chinese proverb that goes,
"Blood is thicker than water."
When we are young, we have visions and dreams. When we
are old, we have lots of memories. Men are said to be
only realistic when they are in their middle age. I am
young, thus I have lots of things to look forward to.
I dream of OWNING the five "C's". They are a car,
cash, career, condominium and credit
card in my future. They might seem unrealistic
right now. However, if I work hard for them, nothing is
impossible.
I believe in international love. Many have said that it
seldom lasts. In my opinion, it is just the test of one's
perseverance. I believe in the strength of love. It
bonds many hearts together. Some people change for
sake of their loved ones. It is also love that makes
us more forgiving and understanding. I cannot imagine
a world without love. With love in your heart, you
will be loved by all. One who has a heart of love has
blessings' one who can eliminate worry has wisdom.
Without love, the world would probably end up as some
cold, bloody, and lonesome place.
Bless you! May love, laughter, peace and job be with
you! Living, in itself is a blessing. For all that
life is worth, hope will see you through ...
