Making Friends

It is always great to make new friends and have good time with them. During my studying in Vancouver for nine months, I have met many friends and it was totally new experience because they are from all over the world. My friends that I met here can be divided into three groups: ESL school friends, Photography school friends, and BCIT school friends.

At ESL school, I could meet really many friends, because every class had to be changed once a month. So, I met about ten new friends every month and it was very easy to be friends each other. However, after a few months later, I realized that I couldn't handle those many friends. I started to lose contact with some friends after they went back to their countries, because I was busy to make other friends. At photography school, I met three Japanese friends. Even though they all were older than I was, we all became good friends. I think it was because we had the same interest, photography. When we plan to meet together, we usually bring our cameras and pictures that have taken since our last meeting. We take some time to take pictures, and then we look our pictures and share some information. One of them is Midori; I was so impressed when she invite me to dinner to introduce me to her mother while her mother was visiting her. Also, I met nice, friendly guys at BCIT. The characteristic of the BCIT was different from the other two schools. I think it took a little time to get closer to each other. However now, we feel so comfortable with each other and we are having fun. The study at the BCIT is a little bit hard, so it makes us feel closer as time goes by. Also, I really like their enthusiastic attitude in studying.

During my study in Vancouver, I learned new things about English, Photography, and Business. At the same time I got lots of memory, experience, and friends. Especially, my friends are really precious for me and I'll always try to remember them and keep in touch with them wherever I am.
