I am going to talk about the four differences and the similarities between Vancouver and Sydney. The reason I am writing these differences and similarities is that I would like you all to know more about city in Sydney.

Firstly, I will tell you about the difference in climate. The weather in Vancouver is not stabilized that it often rains very much. Where as in Sydney, it is very warm and mild almost every day.

Secondly, I will tell you the similarities and the differences in city security. The drugs and the thieves are the examples of major problem of causing violence in city security. For our own security and our younger generations, it is a big task for Vancouver to solve the drug problem. The reason why drug is major is because thieves can also relate to drug problem. The most of the thieves attempt to steal other people's property to make their money so that they can afford to get drugs. Sydney is still very safe compared with Vancouver as drugs are strict, but it is important for us to maintain the security.

Thirdly, I am going to talk about the difference in transportation. The reason why the importance of transportation is different is because the landscape of Vancouver and Sydney is different. The landscape of Vancouver is very flat, whereas Sydney has lots of hills and mountains. So the requirement of convenience is necessary in Sydney. Government of Sydney has railed lot of railways and constructed freeway to make it more convenient as Sydney will have thousands of tourists by Olympic. The another reason is because of the technology improvement. What is this mean by that as there are lot of high buildings are packed in central city of Sydney, monorail became very important for their transportation and their emergency. In Vancouver, sky train is the example convenient transportation vehicle.

Finally, environment is the last category of difference and similarity of Sydney and Vancouver. I would say the Canada and Australia has very similar attitudes to protect the environment of their nature. Sydney councilor protects national parks as Sydney has huge area of national parks. But as Vancouver does not have national parks, they tend to protect a lot of alpine mountains.
