COMM 0004 STUDENTS' WRITINGS

We are members of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Our group met in various room of the downtown campus. We started classes on May 31st. Our final exam took place on July 6 1999. Our 'intensive program' took place from 13:00 to 17:00 Mondays to Thursdays.

We had many technical and business writing tasks during the course. Special attention was given to sentence and paragraph structures. We now realize that planning is an extremely important part of the writing process. We created tables, classification trees, and used other pre-writing strategies. Tweleve formal writing assignments covered many different topics and included work on descriptions, comparisions, justifications, and instructions.

Additionally, we wrote these assignments specifically for an international audience. We wanted to share our views with friends and family. We hope that you enjoy this opportunity to learn more about us and our beliefs.
