A Trip To Eastern Canada

Travelling to eastern Canada was one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life. Last year this time, I was travelling to two provinces: Ontario and Quebec with my friends without travel agency. This travelling was very exciting and impressive in my heart.

First, my friends and I took airplane to first location-Toronto. When we arrived there, we rented a car. Then we depended on a map and started our first view spot-Niagara Falls. We followed the direction on our way, but we got lost. We still drove and then we drove into countryside. Luckily, we met a kindness Canadian who told us how to get to the way of Niagara Falls. My friends and I were amazed at what we saw when we arrived Niagara Falls. Its magnificence and grandeur is deeply impression into my mind. Then, we decided to take a boat closer the fall. When our boat closer and closer the fall, we couldn't open our eyes because its powerful water fell down on our body. Everyone screamed in exciting. We waited there until night for seeing different scenery of Niagara Falls. It is really difficult to describe its beauty by saying or writing. Next day, we visited the highest building in Toronto-CN Tower. Its characteristic is that the top of layer's floor is made from glass. When I walked on the floor, I felt I was standing on the air. In addition, I could see night view of Toronto through windows.

Next, we took a train from Toronto to Ottawa. While we were getting there, we were imagining that we were in England. Most of buildings are over hundred years, which are around the Parliament. We visited inside of the Parliament and saw its stateliness. Moreover, we visited the oldest library which is made of wood has hundred history. While walking into the library, there is a beautiful statue, which is young Queen Victoria standing middle of the library.

Then, we also took the train to our third location-Quebec. It was cold in my first impression when we arrived even it was summer. I didn't like Quebecois because they were not friendly. Before we started to visit the oldest castle in Quebec City, we asked our hotel manager how could we get to there by a bus. He wasn't sure to give us a bus number-3, but we couldn't find it. Then we asked someone for help. While one of my friends was asking a lady where could we find the bus stop, the lady was using "perfect English" to tell us she doesn't speak English. Second time, we asked a young woman, she told us how to get to the bus stop. Unfortunately, we were chatted again. Finally, we asked a bus driver and he told us this bus would go there. We arrived the castle and walked around the shopping stores.

Last view of location is Montreal. This city is my favorite. It is not only beautiful, but also people are friendly. We stayed in old Montreal and our hotel was nearby. Here, people are very nice and gentle. There were many artists drawing pictures such as some artists drew people like a comic. We also visited a museum. It was designed like ancient society of thousand years ago. In the evening, there was a concert in square. People followed the music moving their body. It was almost midnight. We heard people were final counting down, ten, nine,…..two, one, "Happy Canada Day" and had firework. We were just realizing that day was Canada Birthday. Next day, we brought our tired body, but happy mood back to lovely Vancouver.
