My Classes

I learned not only writing skills but various things in my COMM0004 class. What I learned that program can be categorized into two groups. Those two groups consist of what I learned from assignments in the class and what I learned through the class work.

I mainly learned writing techniques from the assignments in the class. As assignments were given several times a week, I could practice to write documents a few times every week. Thus, I was able to have much opportunity for writing paragraphs. Furthermore, I learned to recognize my errors on my assignments and know how to organize a document by reviewing my assignments marked by the teacher.

I also learned a few things through class work. I experienced group work and an oral presentation while I was attending the class. Through these experiences, I realized that I should be confident and must participate actively in the class to be successful. I realized that participating actively in the class was an important way to reduce a gap in my English ability.

As a result of taking COMM0004, I knew and learned many necessary things in order to be successful at BCIT. I believe that several things I got from this program will help me to be successful in my future.
